Last week in healthcare funding moved serious money across 10 deals. 💰

From metastatic cancer to provider credentialing to youth mental health, the breadth was notable.

Here is every deal I could verify:

– AdvanCell, $315M, Series D. Advancing ADVC001, a Lead-212 PSMA-targeted radioligand therapy for metastatic prostate cancer toward Phase 3. According to Diagnostics World News, the round was oversubscribed and upsized.
– Beeline Medicines, $126.3M, Series A extension, bringing total Series A to $426.3M. Developing a portfolio of highly selective therapeutic candidates targeting the underlying causes of immune-mediated diseases including lupus and atopic dermatitis. Source: Diagnostics World News, July 29.
– RQ Bio, $115M, Series A. Advancing RQB01, designed to deliver broad protection against influenza through a dual mechanism of action targeting conserved epitopes. Round described as oversubscribed. Source: Diagnostics World News, July 29.
– Flare Therapeutics, $85M, Series C. Concentrating resources on FX-111, a first-in-class degrader targeting ARON, the transcriptionally active androgen receptor for prostate cancer. Source: Diagnostics World News, July 29.
– Lycia Therapeutics, $75M, Series D. Advancing programs for food allergy and Graves’ disease via its LYTAC degrader platform. Round described as oversubscribed. Source: Diagnostics World News, July 29.
– TYBR Health, $30M, Series A, led by Vensana Capital and Mutual Capital Partners. An orthopaedic hydrogel platform designed to support healing following surgery. Source: StartUp Health Insights, Week of July 28.
– Flourish Health, $26M, Series A, led by B Capital, F-Prime, and Cherryrock Capital. An in-home care model for children and young adults with serious complex mental health needs. Source: StartUp Health Insights, Week of July 28.
– Assured Health, $19M, Series A, led by Insight Partners. An AI-native platform that automates healthcare provider credentialing and payer enrollment, getting providers in-network faster. Source: FinanceWire, July 29.
– Karoo Health, $16.2M, Series A, co-led by 7wire Ventures and Allumia Ventures. An AI-native operating system for cardiovascular care, based in Albuquerque, NM. Source: StartUp Health Insights, Week of July 28.
– SoundHealth, $12.25M, Series A, led by Shangbay Capital. An AI-enabled wearable device platform targeting sleep and breathing disorders. Source: Fundz, July 30.

The pattern across last week is hard to miss.

Biotech dominated dollar volume. AdvanCell, Beeline, RQ Bio, Flare, and Lycia alone account for roughly $716M. These are not AI wrappers. These are differentiated science bets, late-stage or clinical-stage, with serious mechanism-of-action specificity. Investors did not slow down on hard biotech.

But the operational layer got funded too.

Assured Health going after credentialing and payer enrollment. Karoo Health building infrastructure for cardiovascular care delivery. These are not the rounds that make the press covers. They are the rounds that quietly fix the pipes everything else runs through. As a founder, those bets resonate.

And then there is Flourish Health, $26M for in-home intensive care for kids with complex mental health needs. In a week when Washington is still cutting Medicaid and behavioral health access is contracting, someone put real capital behind the hardest-to-serve population. That matters.

🔎 What to watch: Seven of these ten deals were Series A rounds. That is the pattern worth saving. Capital is not just concentrating in mega-rounds at the top. There is real appetite for conviction bets at earlier stages across oncology, operational infrastructure, and behavioral health. If you are raising a Series A in any of these lanes right now, the environment is not as frozen as the macro noise suggests.
